Application areas:

This series of sanitary butterfly valves is pneumatically or manually operated and is used in stainless steel piping systems.

Operating principles:

This series of butterfly valves can be remotely controlled via actuator or manually operated via handle.

• The actuator comes in three standard versions: normally closed (NC), normally open (NO), and pneumatic/pneumatic activated (A/A).
• The actuator is designed to convert the axial movement of the piston into a 90° rotation of the shaft. When the valve disc contacts the sealing ring of the butterfly valve, the actuator’s torque increases. The valve is be closed.
• The selected manual operating handle can mechanically lock the valve in the open, closed, intermediate, or other positions to control the flow rate.

Options:

• Handles: Two-position handle, three-position handle, four-position lever handle, multi-position plastic handle, and multi-position stainless steel handle.
• Actuators: pneumatic stainless steel actuators, pneumatic aluminum actuators, electric actuators.
